Finally! It’s here! Today April 29th – I am done with Sophomore year. It’s extremely hard to believe that here I am ready to move into Junior Year. This week wasn’t too bad at all. Infant this finals week was probably my easiest finals week I have ever had in my college career, and I’m done early in the week too. That’s a shocker! I’ve never been done with all my finals on a Tuesday. Its very much rare, but nice! Now I just have to sit through and suffer the pure boredom of working.
See don’t get me wrong – I work with some pretty cool people, but working is a lot like flying. You have 10-30 of excitement (take-off/landing phase and test running) and then hours of pure boredom (the en-route part or sitting around waiting to run test). Anyways I think I can suffer through work seeing as how I need the money as I don’t have a job for the summer yet.
Now as summer is here I have to plan what is that I wish to do. Travel is defiantly my first choice, but with anything the rising cost of fuel, 100LL and auto fuel, that is becoming a little bit of a problem. The cost of fuel going up so are the rental rates of the aircraft back home. On top of that it cost way too much money to travel via car. Although I complain – I will be traveling within the first 24 hours of being home from school. Sunday I will be on my way to see Matt. He’s been gone to Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri in AIT to become a Military Police Officer. Should be a fun trip as I will be traveling with Tiffani and her dad. It should be a good trip.
Following my journey southwest I’ll be able to spend a week with my mom. I’ve decided that If I chose to live at home for the summer, I will need to organize my room and life in a manor that allows me to live there. I’m taking the first week at home to get myself in order and ready for the summer.
Well that is all that I have to write for now. Just kinda the thoughts and plans that I’m awaiting. Now I must go use a few minutes of fun and “run the test”
